OUR PRACTICE
Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Associates has been providing specialty-level children's eye care to the children of Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts, and northeastern Connecticut since 1993. Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Associates was the first practice in Rhode Island devoted to pediatric ophthalmology and adult eye muscle disorders (strabismus). Pediatric ophthalmologists have an additional year of formal post-residency training in children's eye diseases and adult strabismus, and as such have the most sophisticated level of training in this field.
We have two office locations. Our Providence location is located in the Medical Office/Co-op Care Building across from Hasbro Children's Hospital, where we perform some of our surgery. Our East Greenwich location is located on South County Trail for those coming from points further south. Both offices have full-service optical shops specializing in children's eyewear. For the safety of our patients, all of our lenses are made of the toughest lens material available, shatter-proof polycarbonate.
